Adopt a Firehouse

People want to get involved and help the firefighters of New York City. So we started asking around different firehouses what they needed or wanted and it became apparent that, though there has been an out pouring of support, many houses have been neglected, because they are located is less affluent neighborhoods. We have collected “wish” lists from these different firehouses and these lists include items such as couches, kitchen chairs, office chairs, dishwashers, exercise equipment, VCRs, ceramic space heaters and the like. If you are interested in participating by collecting or buying any of these items please contact the WTC project director London Allen for more details. Not all firehouses need all of these things so please contact us for specific information. We want to avoid one firehouse getting 7 couches and another firehouse getting none.
